Meet Me
My name is Daniela, and I am 31 years old.

I am the mother of a beautiful daughter who is 1 year and 7 months old, and I am so proud of myself because I never thought I would be capable of bringing a new life into this world and making her happy. It is the most satisfying feeling to see my baby happy, laughing, and smiling all the time. Of course, we set aside the moments when the tantrums happen.

My life truly began with her; she made me see things I had never seen before. She made me see ME.

I live my childhood through her again. I find myself in those years when I was helping my baby brother walk, when I was singing for no reason, and when I was talking to the wind. To be a child for me was to be this free spirit that brought joy to my parents.

Having a child brings you back to those moments and makes you see everything with different eyes. You remember the reality you had as a child and the feelings you experienced, but in an adult way. The love you felt as a baby is now something you feel while giving it to this ball of light in your life.

And for the mothers who have had it harder, I am here for you too, to share in all your experiences. You are beautiful and strong. YOU CAN DO IT! Be there for your baby but do not forget about yourself!

I know some of you are alone, but let me tell you, you are a titan! You are so strong; you cannot imagine. “Amazing” is too little of a word to describe you.
